Lesson 1

Identifying the place value of digits in 5-digit numbers

In this lesson, we will be representing 5-digit numbers pictorially and identifying the value of each digit within these numbers.

In this lesson we will be learning about why geographers do fieldwork. We will begin by learning what fieldwork is and then explore why geographers do fieldwork. Finally we will learn about the different types of fieldwork that geographers do.

Lesson 4

What is the Theory of Evolution?

In today’s lesson we look at Darwin’s observations from his trip on HMS Beagle. We will then put all his observations together to see how Darwin came up with his theory. His theory is called evolution. We will apply this new knowledge to two other examples of evolution, mice and giraffes.
