Head's Welcome
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I warmly welcome you and your family to The Beeches Primary School, a large, vibrant and diverse school with over 620 children on roll, situated near the City Centre of Peterborough. Having been a teacher at the school since 2000, and Deputy Headteacher since 2016, I am excited by my new role as the Headteacher of a school community I am so proud to be part of.
At the Beeches, we aim to meet the needs of children and families of the community, both familiar and new, so all children reach their potential. We have a strong commitment to the progress of SEND children and everyone is supported as we strive for excellence in a stimulating and caring environment. We are very proud of our children’s achievements, as each child grows with us to become confident learners. The school’s core values of excellence, resilience, collaboration, curiosity, reflection, caring, creative and articulate underpin all we do in school, and help to prepare our children for the demands of life in the 21st Century.
We have an ambitious curriculum, and our dedicated team of teachers and staff work hard to ensure lessons are high-quality and that our school is an exciting place to be. We place a great deal of emphasis on personal development and being safe at school and in the wider community.
We aim to maintain a close working relationship with all our families as partners in the learning journey. This engagement supports your child during their time with us.
We look forward to working with you and your child.
